The latest updates from our Kingston clinic

With the move to our new premises at 4 East Terrace Kingston, we have been able to employ reception staff to assist our physiotherapists, Kingston local, Chelsey Rothall, and also Tamara Lidums who travels from Naracoorte every Tuesday.

Our reception staff are Deb Taylor and Bianca Cunneen, both of whom have plenty of medical reception experience.

Now that we have reception staff, it means that we are able to take same-day payments for our physiotherapy appointments. We are also almost ready to be able to make your health insurance claims on the day also. Please ask Deb or Bianca if this is ready, the next time you have your appointment in Kingston.

This will be very convenient for our patients as only the gap needs to be paid on the day, the claim already processed for you.

Another change that we are making is to remove bulk billing of Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) or Chronic Disease Management appointments in Kingston, which will bring it in line with our other clinics in Naracoorte, Bordertown and Keith. From 1st June, an EPC referral from your GP will entitle you to a rebate from Medicare (for up to 5 consults in a calendar year), and will no longer cover the full cost of your appointment. Appointments will need to be paid in full on the day, and Medicare will refund you $55.10 overnight to your linked bank account.

If you have any questions or concerns about EPC appointments, please speak to Deb or Bianca or call 8767 4600.
